What is it like to worship at St Mark's?
LET ALL THAT I AM WAIT QUIETLY BEFORE GOD. FOR MY HOPE IS IN HIM.
Psalm 62:5

Welcome
We bid a warm welcome to visitors, and everyone is invited to join us in worship. All baptized persons in good standing in their own church are invited to receive Holy Communion with us.

Worship
We worship using The Book of Common Prayer, the Bible and the 1982 Hymnal. Through these, we are accessing over 2000 years of spiritual direction, and although to some this may seem "old fashioned," we believe that they guide us through a communal experience of prayer and nearness to God.

Silence
At St Mark's, we seek to draw near to the Mystery of God. Our sanctuary is a place of holy silence. Therefore, before the service we enter quietly, preparing to pray with hymns and responses. This provides a quiet time for reflection and sacred preparation so that in silence we may 'hear' God, and hearing, worshp.
